Corporate Social Responsibility
As part of our commitment to good corporate citizenship, Azad Engineering Limited actively contributes to improving the quality of life of people in the communities we serve, with a special preference for the local areas around our business operations.
The Company’s CSR efforts focus on key areas such as Health, Education, Environment, and Employability interventions for relevant target groups, ensuring diversity and prioritizing support to needy and deserving communities across India.
The CSR Policy adopted by the Company encompasses all the activities prescribed under Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013.
Azad Engineering Limited (‘AEL’ or ‘the Company’) has formulated this Annual Action Plan for undertaking CSR activities pursuant to provisions of Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013 (“Act”) read with Rule 5(2) of the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014 (as amended) and the CSR Policy of the Company.

Modalities of fund utilisation
Disbursement of funds or utilization of funds shall be phased manner or otherwise as per the project needs.
Monitoring and reporting mechanism for projects
Management and CSR Committee shall obtain necessary progress reports from time to time to review the status of the CSR projects. Further, independent audits may also be conducted to ascertain fund utilization and status of the project.
Details of need and impact assessment
Impact Assessment of CSR initiatives, as required under Rule 8 of the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility) Rules, 2014, is not applicable on AEL.
