Sridhar brings over 21 years of rich experience in the aerospace manufacturing domain, with expertise in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and Strategic planning. In his role, he will oversee all functions of the Oil & Gas business unit and manage the outsourcing for both Oil & Gas and Aerospace requirements.
Prior to joining Azad, Sridhar held leadership positions at prestigious organisations including Mahindra Aerospace, where he served as Head of Strategic Sourcing & Planning. His extensive experience also includes roles at TATA Industrial Services Limited (TISL), TAL Manufacturing Solutions (currently TASL), and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), where he worked on critical projects including the LCA Front fuselage structural assembly and GSLV MKIII Propellent tanks.
Throughout his career, Sridhar has demonstrated exceptional leadership, successfully:
• Establishing and managing global supply chains for aerospace OEMs
• Leading a large SCM team with consistent 99% OTIF delivery performance
• Reducing inventory turn ratio from >4.5 to <3
• Implementing digitisation and automation initiatives
• Developing strategies for inventory control and supply planning frameworks
A graduate of NIT Warangal with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Sridhar also holds a certificate course from IIT Kanpur in “Aircraft Engineering and Manufacturing Technology.” He is currently pursuing his MBA from IIM Kozhikode and is CPSM®️ certified from ISM-USA.
